Is there any way Textie can support my GV account? I like the prospect of a single unified txt message account that threads messages. Hope you can add this feature soon.

Thanks for the feedback! Good to know people want it. Supporting Google Voice is on the todo list, but we have some I think more exciting features planned first.

So if I put it my Google Voice number as the mobile number for my account will it work? It never gets verified.

    Thanks.

I'd like to use Google Voice too, in limited fashion. Basically I'd like if Textie could register my phone number with my account so that my friends can use the one number they know (GV) in their Textie account and it would still get to me.

This avoids me having to say, my number is X except if you use Textie, then use Y instead.

Sending to GV is lower priority to me.

    Thanks!

Google voice provides us with the kind of simplicity that should fit into an app like this one. Design is elegant, but functionality is not there if you can't support Google Voice. BTW, I don't think GV is a "carrier" in the sense that AT&T is. It's infrastructure is software, not cell towers.

Okay, we'll bump up the priority! Thanks again for the feedback.
